Resort The Sun City Hotel

Rooms are medium in size & in good condition as are the bathrooms. Light colours are used giving a light/bright effect & many have views over the pool area & surrounding hills and lake. Situated on the lower ground floor on a covered outside terrace. There is a large waterfall directly in front of where the clients eat. The hotel boasts three other restaurants all on the ground floor. The harlequin which is in the casino area & is all decorated in a casino theme, the orchid which serves Asian food and the Kalahash which serves African food. A very large purpose built sand coloured structure. Small in size, the lobby forms the entrance part of the hotel & is part of the entertainment centre of the hotel which is full of slot machines games. It has a separate reception and concierge area. An excellent hotel for its category. There are certain dates in the year when either the Lost City course or Gary player golf course are unavailable due to competitions. Also in the winter months of May and June maintenance is undertaken for the 'Valley of the Waves', the 'Dungeon' and the observatory so these may be closed for public use. (AHJ 09.08) The Family rooms at the Sun city Main hotel offer extra beds for children in the form of a sleeper couch.
